U-SYNC: your DAW, Reliq and your hardware on the grid.

U-SYNC 2.0

U-SYNC locks Reliq to your DAW over one USB cable. Transport and clock are shared, so you press play on either side and everything follows.

Version 2.0 brings tighter, more stable timing, measures your latency for you, and now runs on Windows.

What's new in 2.0

  • Works on macOS and Windows

    Same plug-in, same workflow.

  • Over 20,000× lower jitter

than your DAW’s own MIDI clock.

  • Latency Auto Detect

U-SYNC measures your setup’s delay and compensates it.

  • Latency presets

Measure once. Load the preset in any session.

Set up in a minute

Install U-SYNC on macOS or Windows, and update Reliq to Rlx 1.10.0.

Connect Reliq over USB and add the U-SYNC plug-in to any track. Reliq connects right away.

Press play on Reliq or in your DAW. Everything follows.

Recordings that land on the grid

Every setup adds its own latency. U-SYNC 2.0 measures it for you.

Choose Auto Detect, record one bar from your hardware and play it back through the plug-in. U-SYNC sets the compensation.

Save it as a preset and load it in any session.

Your DAW, from Reliq

In every supported DAW, U-SYNC keeps clock and transport locked, so software and hardware record on one timeline.

In Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio, Reliq goes beyond sync. Control clips, the mixer and tracks right from the grid.

Is U-SYNC included in Reliq?

U-SYNC is a native Reliq feature and is free to use.

To use U-SYNC with your DAW, U-SYNC needs to be installed separately on your computer.

To install U-SYNC for Reliq, please visit the Support page.

Does U-SYNC work on Windows?

Yes, since U-SYNC 2.0. Every supported DAW works on macOS and Windows, except Logic Pro, which is Mac only.

Which DAWs does U-SYNC support?

Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Reaper, Reason, Pro Tools, Studio Pro and LUNA. The U-SYNC manual has the current list.

Do I need a spare audio output?

No. U-SYNC runs over the USB cable between Reliq and your computer. You only need an audio interface to record your hardware back in.

Do I have to set the latency every session?

No. Measure it once with Auto Detect, save it as a preset and load it in new sessions. Measure again only when your setup changes.

Can U-SYNC send MIDI notes?

No. U-SYNC 2.0 carries clock and transport only: tempo, play and stop.

Is U-SYNC the same as DAW control?

No. U-SYNC syncs clock and transport in every supported DAW. Controlling the DAW from Reliq (clips, mixer, tracks) works in Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio.

What are the minimum technical requirements for U-SYNC?

U-SYNC supports:

  • macOS 15 or later, including Tahoe and Golden Gate
  • Windows 11
  • Latest DAW versions at the time of release
